freebies...

hey luvies!!

don't be a hater--i stopped into a store to show my friend my gift and there was a bitter betty that asked if it was a promo going on and i told her no, politely might i add, and she caught an attitude. 

but anyway, i was fortunate enough to stumble across an angel who provided me with a coupon for a free gift from nordstrom and it made my day!!the coupon was pink and it mentioned FREE sample sizes of mascara "no purchase necessary". and of course there was the usual "while products lasts" was on there in bold print.  they started giving out the goodie bag on august 27th and the last day to take advantage of the offer was on September 10th--so here i am on the 8th just 2 days before. 

so this is what i received from the cosmetic counter

so they were giving out some pretty good stuff.  i have never tried any of these mascaras before, but i figured it would be good to see if there was much of a difference between the major department and the drug store brands. ((results coming soon))

they were a  lot bigger than i expected--i honestly thought i was gonna be looking at some teeny tiny sample wands.

but thanks to nordstrom--really appreciate the gifts!!
