how are you??  life here has been so hectic.   i mean with the holidays quickly approaching and work trying to consume my life, i haven't had time for anything!  i have been trying to spend as much free time as possible with my hubb and my princess.  so yes i have been neglecting you guys...but not maliciously.  so today to stop through to show you my kinda new--but not so new "do".  

a little camera play for y'all--don't mind surrounding clutter LOL i literally had just dropped my little one off to school ((an hour away!!)) and then drove back an hour to get dressed!

but anyway--lloyd and i went into stella*marina's for happy hour.  and no we didn't get twisted, we declined the wine and champagne.  but, it's a really nice italian restaurant on the jersey shore ((not snookie's jersey shore--mine!)).  the setting was gorgeous, there were a few things that i didn't really care for but they were too minor to even discuss.  well, this is what i wore from head to toe:

most of my shots were ridiculous because it was freezing out there! it showed all over my face and body LOL.  we both had fried calamari and decided to split some desserts; which were unbelievably delicious.  we chose the fruit tart and the tiramisu.

dalmation bish...

i had a quite a few errands to run today...i've been on the road since 11am and i'm just now settling in--family guy's on the big screen keeping me company.  i had so much to catch up on...the bank, post office, grocery store, etc. 

but FIRST, before i show you today's outfit ((you're gonna think i'm an idiot)) i actually deleted the picture of my full outfit--but you'll be able to piece it together with some imagination.  

so my make-up was done originally with these three colors because of the outfit that i had on originally.

but the problem was that i woke up and got dressed before the sun came out...because of that i ended up changing into something a little more suited for the weather.  this item here should have been on my "SHEmergency" list.

i ended up smoking out the eyes to go with my look a little better--this is what the wand looks like ((purchased from target)).  it already has black shadow in the tube and it works for those mornings when you're running out of time. i just outlined the outer v of my eye and blended with the same foam applicator.

after applying the smokey wand at the dunkin donuts drive-thru--this is what it ended up looking like ((please keep your make-up criticisms constructive))

 and oh yes...my "pink in the afternoon" lip stick

 so my shirt was from h&m...a cropped short ((mid-drift revealed)) sleeve tee.  white with black polka dots, i believe this was about $15 and i bought it right at the beginning of summer.

 i also wore a pair of distressed jeans American Eagle $49.50 ((a bit of a stretch but super worth it)).

and sandals from banana republic which i got on sale from one of their outlet stores ((i can't remember the price)).

so the old me would've said screw it and not published a post because it wasn't perfect.  the make-up wasn't on point, but not everyday is gonna be perfect. and because i deleted the pic of my outfit, i figured it would be better to show something because i promised consistency and i'm a woman of my word!

simple, sweet, & short!! my look for the day.  it was a day filled with chaos--any day where i have to do a lot of driving & make a bunch of stops with my 2-year-old is filled with chaos.  she thinks we're supposed to stop at every Burger King & McDonald's for "fwies".  

wanna se my little momma???  excuse her frizzy hair--it was hot LOL

anyway...my look was inspired by Ms. Halle Berry because she seems to always be wearing boyfriend jeans.  this was me at the end of the day...after i've been tortured by the heat & worn down by the challenges of the day.

i've had this cuff for years but I recently stole it back from my mother after going through her jewelry box for an earring back...SMH. Oh & the tattoo on my wrist is incomplete!

i thought there was nail polish on my purse but turns out it was the reflection of my photographers clothing.  my 10-year-old sister really helped me out because i have no tripod & i had nowhere to set my camera.  wanna see her too???

well here she is...my little camera woman...i practically raised this kid ((still raising))
