work flow...

hey luvies!!
i missed y'all! in my best wendy williams voice "how you doing??" ok, so here i am on my way to work; the weather had been pretty sucky the past few days and so when the sun peeked over the clouds for a few minutes i got excited.  what!! no jacket needed!!??
i do have some sort of freedom with my work attire and it's definitely a plus! at least my creativity isn't stifled all the way.

i am rockin from the bottom up ((yea i'm rebellious))
steve madden shoes ((purchased during a buy 1 get 1 90% off sale))
american eagle jeans
a gap boyfriend button down
h&m satchel ((my new bff))
oh and i also threw on my rutgers alumni pin

well bye luvies--it's a quick post; yes! i know! look at the foliage in the back yard--super pretty.  but i really do have to get outta here before i'm late to punch the clock so see ya!!

work flow...

hey luvies!!
so i have a quick outfit of the day that i wasn't gonna post until tomorrow ((sleep and wake up tomorrow...not 1am tomorrow)).  but it would NEVER get done! so i was supposed to wear purple today --the gay suicides awareness.  and i did, when i got to work i threw on a purple shirt.  i didn't remember until i was dressed and on my way out the door.
so here we go; from head to toe:
gap boyfriend blazer
tunic from h&m
my hubby's tie
jeans from the gap
oxfords from forever21

and look at what i got!! i've been looking all over for this!!

the mornings are always gloomy and it rained for quite some time--so the photos are uber limited.  i definitely didn't wanna step in mud.  that's all i've got for now!  i'm so sleepy lovies---nighty night!!

more fashion night out flix...

ok so here are some more flicks from fashion night out 2010.  this guy here--i stopped him and asked him for a picture and he was kind enough to take two.  he gave me his business card which was a card for a lounge where he is currently the p.r. rep for...if you're interested then here is the link
IBIZA LOUNGE
but he was a handsome fella and he popped out amongst a crowd of many so he was worth taking a picture of

these are my legs!! lol steve madden knee high boots---unfortunately, they were not broken in and i had to make a stop at duane reade to get these dr. scholls gellin inserts LOL.  but i love these boots and i couldn't wait to wear them.  so hopefully they are good

oh and my little lacy gloves...which i adore because of the bow

i wish i would've gotten the contact for these two ladies...i felt as though they looked super sexy! the ripped stockings and the little black dress---yes!!

one of the models posing outside the rockefeller center to which an older fashion forward lady to watch out for because he had on more eye liner than i did LOL

this is my girlie Dira! i had to put this up here because this is one of my favorite pics and i wish i had had captured a flawless shot in front of a moving train--everyone kept saying that she looked like Janelle Monae because of her hair do

this is Bev standing next to doe deere, who is the ceo and president of "lime crime makeup".  i honestly never heard of her or the product before but from the moment i saw her--she stood out to me and i was trying to get a picture of her ((without asking of course)) before she volunteered.  so if you're interested the site is LIME CRIME MAKEUP and the email address is limecrimemakeup@gmail.com

...the sea of people waiting to meet Kat Von D ((look at Kris and his sunglasses--which i swear got most of the attention that night))

the sephora models are seen in the next three photos...

OMG and this ratchet lady was out in NYC charging people $2 for a picture with her--she must be trying pay for a breast lift LOL

the beautiful me in front of the lipstick mirror at sephora

...Lloyd doing what he does best of course!

and here goes my outfit to top it all off

from head to toe:
h&m shirt bought at a size too big to make a dress
express vest
forever21 lace gloves
lace slip found in marshalls
steve madden boots

but this is truly all i have for F.N.O. and i cannot wait to experience it again1 i told lloyd that i'm taking the whole week off for fashion week the next time around! well, nitey nite my luvies!!

dalmation bish...

i had a quite a few errands to run today...i've been on the road since 11am and i'm just now settling in--family guy's on the big screen keeping me company.  i had so much to catch up on...the bank, post office, grocery store, etc.
but FIRST, before i show you today's outfit ((you're gonna think i'm an idiot)) i actually deleted the picture of my full outfit--but you'll be able to piece it together with some imagination.
so my make-up was done originally with these three colors because of the outfit that i had on originally.

but the problem was that i woke up and got dressed before the sun came out...because of that i ended up changing into something a little more suited for the weather.  this item here should have been on my "SHEmergency" list.

i ended up smoking out the eyes to go with my look a little better--this is what the wand looks like ((purchased from target)).  it already has black shadow in the tube and it works for those mornings when you're running out of time. i just outlined the outer v of my eye and blended with the same foam applicator.

after applying the smokey wand at the dunkin donuts drive-thru--this is what it ended up looking like ((please keep your make-up criticisms constructive))

and oh yes...my "pink in the afternoon" lip stick

so my shirt was from h&m...a cropped short ((mid-drift revealed)) sleeve tee.  white with black polka dots, i believe this was about $15 and i bought it right at the beginning of summer.
i also wore a pair of distressed jeans American Eagle $49.50 ((a bit of a stretch but super worth it)).
and sandals from banana republic which i got on sale from one of their outlet stores ((i can't remember the price)).
back...

front...

once again i apologize for not having a full view but i will revisit this and update with the re-creation of the outfit very soon.
and finally, my accessories included this alligator ring from target

another $6 watch from mandees

this beaded bracelet from express

and this necklace from forever21 ((which i adore because music is so dear to my heart)).

so the old me would've said screw it and not published a post because it wasn't perfect.  the make-up wasn't on point, but not everyday is gonna be perfect. and because i deleted the pic of my outfit, i figured it would be better to show something because i promised consistency and i'm a woman of my word!
later luvies...i hope you enjoyed

bad weather cute outfit...

greetings to you all...if I even have any friends/fans/followers yet! I could be talking to myself for all i know. LOL. yet, i do know that building a fan base takes time & i PROMISE that my team & i will continue to make posts in hopes that you beautiful guys & gals are listening, reading, & enjoying!!
well, I am posting a few pics from yesterday..which was a terrible day to wear what i chose to.  i checked the weather ((as I always do)) but my iPhone's weather source spoon fed me BS on a platter.  as soon as i headed down the parkway, the clouds started to roll in & the raindrops started.  this intro was required because i decided to find a nice shelter to take my pics...which ended up being my laundry room in the basement.   so, i must apologize for the unglamorous scenery in advance ((my husband said it looks like i took my pics in the hood..whatever that means)).  needless to say i became quite conscious of my background & contemplated recreating the look in a place more scenic. then i just figured...what the hell!  if the environment throws you off so you cannot get the full effect, then once again i apologize & will do much better next time.  so without further delay...

the blazer which is 3/4 sleeve was purchased at H&M ((one of my favorite stores))

the jean dress was also purchased at H&M from last spring

the stockings were from Express

the purse is vintage ((Good Will))

& the boot are faux suede which i purchased a few years back from 1 of those stores that sell shoes from lines such as wanted...what am i getting at?  i have no clue who made them!

here are a few more pics of me in my laundry room...

& finally!! a view from behind ((a back shot...LOL))

this look is totally simple to recreate & make your own IF you like & if you don't please don't hesitate to let me know why you're hatin' on me! LOL.  but, seriously, send me some suggestions: how would you have made it different?  better?  email me your recreations if you would like & i could post them on here as well..yeah I'm gonna let you all get your shine on if you'd like.  the email once again is CERTIFIEDkei@gmail.com
peace && Blessing--Kei <3
