so christmas is almost here and i have been doing so much shopping for my loved ones...but what about ME?! i mean i have to get stuff for myself too right?? my birthday is on the 28th so i have been getting robbed my whole entire life...i have to get myself presents.  plus all the gifts that used to be mine now go to  my daughter, whose birthday also happens to fall on the 9th of january ((so yes, she stole my birthday shine (or should i say $$) as well)).

i have been eying this book for quite some time and when borders sent me a 40% off coupon i ran there LOL  ...jemma kidd! i really do love this woman!

yes, i abandoned you guys again and i am sorry...forgive me??  well i am back and i'm coming STRONG!  have you guys seen the coated jeans? they have that liquid legging/leather sheen to them.  at first i was a bit leery but i kept seeing them everywhere; in the stores and on celebs, so i figured why not. just in case you need a refresher:

i think you get the idea! so here is an o.o.t.d. for my coated denim, which i of course wore to work so i couldn't get all jazzy-fied...but i did feel a little rebellious so i wore black and brown ((i'm not sure if this a white after labor day thing, but i've heard that you're not supposed to wear the 2))

i got this cute little necklace with black and brown gems out of old navy ((couldn't believe it)). please excuse my bra which became visible from the flash LOL

guess what?! so i finally made the style council on chictopia (go me)! yes i am hella excited...i'm still a long way from a VIP but i'll get there (hopefully).

well i had a shopping date with a friend and when i got done my feet were killing me...i seriously shopped until i almost dropped.  don't even know how i let myself get carried away like i did.  well i luv christmas and i like to make others happy when they open up their gifts.  so it's really starting to get ridiculously cold out and i'm not one of these girls that can handle the cold that well, so it looks like my little legs are about to disappear for a while.
